Hello & Welcome! As a mother myself, I’ve experienced the transformative & beautiful journey of welcoming a new life. Motherhood inspired me to capture these magical and precious moments for other families. I have 14+ years of experience, working and growing with families. I have created a smooth process from start to finish, so taking pictures of your family can be a fun and enjoyable experience. All of my services are designed with you in mind to create timeless photos you’ll display in your home and cherish for a lifetime. 

My studio is located in Downtown Lees Summit. In the Fall of 2019, I rebranded into Aly Marie Photography at Third Street Studio!  I am very fortunate to be on this journey and to be a part of the Downtown Lee’s Summit community.

My style is whimsical, simple and casual.  My passion is lifestyle family photography and my niche is with newborns.  I also offer first year baby plans & packages, child portraits, senior sessions, themed mini sessions, large group family sessions, pet photography and professional business headshots.

Finding a special niche with newborn photography is what really made me fall in love with my career.  After I photographed my first bundle of joy in 2010, I began diving deeper into this newfound love. I am trained, experienced and comfortable with handling newborns and voted top 10 for best maternity & newborn photographers in Kansas City.  It has been such an honor meeting so many families and having the opportunity to create memories that are cherished forever.

In 2015, I began teaching newborn photography workshops with another newborn photographer friend.  Together we have traveled to many different cities across the U.S., teaching other aspiring newborn photographers. If you have questions about mentoring or if you’d like to learn more, please ask me!

This has been a monumental time in my life and I have the best encouragement from family and friends. I have not only found a career that I am sincere about, but I am continuing to meet amazing families and develop relationships with people along the way.  Most importantly, I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to create memories for more families to come!
